Aloha!  If we’ve never met before, it’s nice to meet you. 

I’m Koa Siu, and this is my wife Sarah and our two children Kekoa (4) and Kalea (2).  We grew up in Hawaii but have been living in Sydney for the past 2 years.  This year we’ve celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary—woohoo!  On December 7th we’ve just RETURNED TO HAWAII!!!

Kekoa is a rambunctious four-year-old, constantly quoting song lyrics or the scripts of many of his favorite movies (Toy Story, Ice Age, Veggietales, etc).  He laughs with reckless abandon and loves to play drums.  Kalea Joy is already living up to her namesake.  She’s become quite a talker, and seems to be training her vocal chords to be an opera singer!  Click here to see a video of Kalea & Kekoa playing at the park.

We moved from Honolulu, Hawaii to Sydney, Australia in 2008 to be part of Hillsong Church.  Koa graduated from Hillsong College in 2009 and will now be teaching at Pacific Rim Christian College in Honolulu, Hawaii.  While at Hillsong we both worked and served in Hillsong Music, the Hillsong Network, and Hillsong Church St Marys.  For more on Australia, click here.

Before moving to Sydney, we were part of New Hope Christian Fellowship—an amazing church on Oahu, Hawaii.  We studied at Pacific Rim Bible College, and served for several years on staff with New Hope Hawaii Kai.  In 2007 Koa released his 2nd and 3rd music CDs Where You Are & I am Yours and Sarah published a book Run To You.

These past 2 years at Hillsong have been an incredible enriching experience.  Leaving is very bittersweet, as it is with any good season, we’ll miss Hillsong a lot AND Koa’s looking forward to a great new season in Hawaii as the new Director of Worship and Arts for Pacific Rim Christian College!
